The Hinge assembly is the part where your blades slots over then clips onto the clippers.
Hinge Assembly for all AGC, AGCB, SMC2, Pulse ZR2 models, eMerge and AGR.
The typical problem with this is wear in the spring tension allowing the blade to move, this can be easily checked by whether you can open the hinge with your fingers or not once in the closed position.

When carrying out repairs on your clipper it is always worthwhile disconnecting the power supply before fitting your replacement parts. please do not force any spares into place as this may cause damage to the products.
